Question: OKAY, it's show time!?

Answer #1:

Yep, been lately since its been 60 degrees and above. I have a pond and I fish for bass and crappie as of right now. I caught most on a beetle spin. But if you are fishing for crappie use a jig with a bobber or just a live minnow to substitute the jig. Otherwise use a beetle spin or lipless crankbait in lakes or rivers.

Answer #2:

Good for you! Wish I could go. That old bugaboo has come around this spring like it does most years and the back water has got the boat landing under water. But the weather has been cold and cloudy until the last 2 days any way.

Answer #3:

I'm going out to a small lake with my little Bass Raider tomorrow. I went out to a pond today but unfourtantely didn't have any luck. I think I remember you saying you were from Kentucky? If so, it's going to be a great weekend to get out there and break the non-fishing streak. I'm going for the Bass first, I'll probably throw a jig or 2 along with a crankbait. If that fails, I'm going to break out my ultralight and try for the Crappie.

Answer #4:

Just crammed in some late season walleye fishing up here through the ice! Lots of good fish up here in MN. Big walleyes and angry northerns. Season just closed on monday... Now I have to wait till may... Planning a trip to the Canadian border for lake trout, big pike, and walleyes this spring! Good luck to you.

Answer #5:

I went yesterday. First time since early November. I caught two nice trout but let them live to fight another day. I'm going again at dawn.

Answer #6:

NOVEMBER? Holy crap! I would have died by now if I hadn't fished since Nov. I've been going 3-4 times a week and doing pretty good on bass and kinda hit-n-miss on Redfish.

Answer #7:

Nope ice is still 20" thick on the lakes, but is melting fast, maybe early April

Answer #8:

I haven't been fishing since November as well...I'm goin fishing in a little while though.. Hopefully get some largemouth.....

Answer #9:

Im not sure exactly what type of bait or lure you are using, but I heard of this place called Home of the Brave Outdoors(.com) that sells spinning lures for trout, bass and pan fish.
