Question: Would a abu garcia silvermax or daiwa aggrest be better for bass fishing?

Hmm, could you compare any other two DIFFERENT reels? lol. Daiwa Aggrest's are $179.99 and Abu Garcia Silvermax's are $79,99 I believe. Of course the Daiwa Aggrest will be better for fishing, it costs $99.99 more. But the Aggrest reels (the new ones) were/are a flunk, they are built on the same frame as an $80 Exceler reel. And the reviews suck.

The Silver Max is a nice reel for the price. I know a few people with them and they work them hard and has had no defects from them.

But when a reel costs $100 more it's going to the best, :D.
