Question: how can i get a job testing fishing lures?

i would assume the companies have enough employees and customers testing and giving feedback for free.

That job would be the life, man. Unfortunately, the people that get to do it are the pros who are sponsored by the companies that make the lures. If you are going to be fishing all summer... Maybe try some tournaments, win, get some sponsors, compete in the bassmaster, test and create your own lures! Another way into the industry is through corporate. Get a degree in business and work your way into the field that you want to be in.

Brilliant is on the right path I believe although it's not easy to go out win tournaments and then compete in the Bassmaster. There are plenty of people out there who have been fortunate enough to test lures without being in a tourney as big as the Bassmaster series. If you compete at local levels and consistently do well you have a shot at gaining a few sponosors here and there. If you are fortunate enough to do well many companies will start "handing" you baits, rods, and reels. I wish I could say I was one of the "fortunate" ones, maybe this year lol.
