Why can't I catch a Striped Bass or Blues at a spot where fish are plentifull in Cape Cod Canal and Falmouth?

Heyy guys I ned some intense help fishing...I have a 10 ft rod and 50 pound test im fishing for stripers and blue fish in the cape cod canal area and all around falmouth and etc yet I still cannot catch a fish. I have all kinds of poppers, Chug Go popper small pink and yellow, Black popper with red eyes another white chug go lure thats small and a tsunami surface dweller and a green, blue and silver deadly dick (and the rest are jigs and shads) but I go during sunrise witch is 5:45 ish here in Cape cod and I go to a spot with crazy fish yet I cant catch fish... I cant set the hook, I cant, well I can get it out there but I just suck at setting the hook and knowing whats a hit from when the hook is set...I have fished Wings Neck Rd for sunrise and have seen birds hitting the top of the water and stripers and blues flying all over the place splashing ans stuff and I also cast towards the birds so please help me on what to use and or what techniques or videos to watch. Good fishing lures and techniques for a weedy pond?

I was recently fishing a very scummy and weedy MONSTER bass and MONSTER pike pond off a main river, but question is how do I get them to bite. I've tried scum frogs, gulp worm, jitterbugs, poppers, zara spooks, stanley ribbit frogs, yum money hounds, and nothing will bite anything, and its hard to fish it with cranks, buzzbaits even spinnerbaits because of the scum on top of the water and the weeds 6 inches from the surface, fishing them slow, meduim, or fast, nothing, and their in there because I can see them jump and feeding on topwater, please give me some tips.

I am currently in Jupiter FL attempting to fish a local pond i know is stocked with Largemouth Bass. I am an expierienced fisherman and have tried countless techniques to come up with fish. The only thing i have had luck with is my Banjo Minnow, wich i cought 2 fish with. My thoughts are that the 110 degree weather is making the fish sluggish and inactive.. Largemouth Bass Techniques and Baits for Stained Lake?

I have a house on Lake Panorama in Iowa that I stay at for two months every summer. I fish a lot for bluegill, channel cats and walleye. I have been recently turned on to bass fishing, and have heard stories of many bass fisherman on my small lake. I went out to Bass Pro Shops in Des Moines and got a bargain Baitcaster that I have already mastered. I have fished a total of 14 hours in the last three days and have only had two hits from bass, both of which missed.

I have tried every time of day and a plethora of baits including plastic worms, jitterbugs, zara spooks and poppers and used techniques like walking the dog.

My lake is murky and you can only see about 6-8 inches into the water. It is also very cleaned up leaving little structure and weed beds but there's a lot of rock.

I am wondering which techniques and baits anyone would recommend that I could try because I haven't had any luck in the large amounts of time that I have spent fishing.

Hi I live in Door County, Wisconsin. One of the top fish here is the smallmouth bass. Last year I fished for it a lot. I fish off of docks that are very rocky around it. There are a couple large rock formations which I can see bass swimming in. The other day no lure was working so I tried a wacky worm. This worked great and I caught 4 nice sized smallmouth. I have never set lines for snapping turtles and would love to catch some for some stew. A friend told me to buy large turtle hooks and some bass boat anchor rope. The place i want to fish is a decent size river bend with a depth of about six feet.
