is it ok to put a catfish in with a turtle?

we have a painted baby turtle our kids found walking a trail in the park we have him in a 10 gallon tank and he has rocks he climbs up on to dry out we took him to pet store they told us to feed him frozen bloodworms for all freshwater fish he seems to love them thats all he eats my mom has tried the turtle pellets and the dried shrimp he wont eat it and he dont look like he is getting much bigger i dont know the growing process but we are going to try to get him a 90 gallon tank but me and my mom were having a discustion about if we took him back to park he was found at the a cat6fish will eat him because there is bass large mouth bass sunfish blue gill and catfish in the water would it be safe to put him back???

how often do i feed my fish? help!?

i just bough a really expensive and large fish tank. i have two fish one big mouth bass, he is very aggressive. he eats gold fish and worms. i just don't know how often to feed him. i don't want him to be over fed or under fed.
i also have a small bluegill she is very shy and will not eat. ive held worms up to her and tried hand feeding her so the bass wont steal it from her. though we just got her yesterday. am not feeding her correct? is she scared?

Is it really HELPFUL to use lures when fishing in mid-size rivers w/ live bait and why?

Fire eel suggestions?

I am planning on getting a Fire eel on Sunday. He is 8 Inches eats well and I want to know if I need anything special. My water has a PH of 8.0 and the nitrates are 15PPM I am doing 10-20% water changes every three days and one before I leave to pick him up. There is a Large Mouth bass and a Oscar in the 125 gallon tank i am putting him in. I have a lot caves he can go in. A few fake plants and the gravel is soft. What should I be feeding him is my only question anything else i need to know. And I have lower lighting only 60 watts total and the top of the tank is cover so he doesn't jump out.

i have a baby large mouth bass that i caught in my lake i got him 2 days ago.he isn't eating though i stick a few mosquito fish that i catch from my lake but he looks at them like if hes supposed to eat it... what else can i feed him???????

Right now, I am preparing for a fishing trip, and I'm planning on using a STORM Live Swim Shad, and a STORM Rattling and Jig'n Craw. Also, if I learn how to Rig, I'll bring GULP! lures. The water we plan on fishing in is freshwater, and I think there are Catfish, Large and Small-mouth Bass, and Sunfish. I'm thinking of the YUM lures, but I need your opinion on that. Thanks!
You may suggest Rapala's but the problem is that I don't use them. I've fished with them a lot but I don't usually get a bite with them. (PLEASE, NO RAPALA'S

i am going to a large lake by my house and am going on a pontoon boat. this lake is known for muskie and pike along with the common large mouth bass. the weather around here has been really hot. in the high 80's to the 100 degree mark. i do not know what kind of lures to use or even live bait. the water is really warm and i don't know the fish activity. all help is useful thanks. what would be some good things to look for while fishing. i caught a snapping turtle today and hooked it on the side of the mouth and had to cut the line will he be ok?

this snapping turtle was very large probaly full grown an i couldnt take the hook out without losing a finger so i had to cut the line and i just was worried he would die. also this hook was not large it was a freshwater bass hook.
